STEM Community of Practice
BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF AMERICA
Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, has been making meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and youth (“Littles”), ages 5 through 18, in communities across the country for over 100 years.
In support of its national network, The Learning Agenda created and lead a Community of Practice comprised of affiliate representatives from agencies interested in building STEM programming and opportunities. The COP was designed to build upon research and affiliate practices, uncover what is working well and where investments are needed to better support young people.
